Welcome to RYSA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our AI-powered washing guidance and outfit recommendation services. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RYSA's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.
Service Description
RYSA provides AI-powered services including:
- • Washing and care guidance for clothing and fabrics
- • Outfit recommendations and styling suggestions
- • Image analysis for garment identification and care instructions
- • AI-powered chat assistance for fashion and care-related questions
AI-Generated Content and Disclaimers
IMPORTANT: Our AI-generated recommendations are provided for informational and assistance purposes only. They should not be considered as:
- • Professional cleaning or textile care advice
- • Medical or health advice
- • Legal advice or professional consultation
- • Guaranteed results for any specific garment or fabric
Always verify information before acting on it, especially for valuable, delicate, or irreplaceable items. We recommend consulting professional cleaners for expensive or specialty garments.
User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- • Provide accurate and complete registration information
- • Maintain the security of your account credentials
- • Promptly update your account information as needed
- • Be responsible for all activities under your account
- • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in some regions) to create an account.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use our service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may NOT:
- • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
- • Use the service for commercial purposes without authorization
- • Share account credentials or violate usage limits
- • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our systems
- • Upload images containing nudity, violence, or private individuals without consent
- • Use the service to generate harmful or misleading content
- • Violate intellectual property rights of others
Payment Terms and Credits
Credit System
- • Credits are consumed when using AI-powered features
- • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
- • Credits do not expire but may be subject to account inactivity policies
- • Credit packages are clearly outlined at time of purchase
Payments
- • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- • Prices are displayed in your local currency where available
- • Payment is required before credit delivery
- • You authorize us to charge your payment method for purchases
Refunds
- • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
- • Credits that have been used are not eligible for refund
- • Except where you exercise your statutory rights to withdraw or where the service is not in conformity, purchased credits are non-refundable once used.

Intellectual Property Rights
Our Rights
RYSA and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the service, including but not limited to software, algorithms, AI models, trademarks, logos, and content. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
Your Content
You retain ownership of images and content you upload. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide our services. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content, but we may use it to improve our AI models in anonymized form.
AI-Generated Content
AI-generated recommendations and responses are provided to you for your use. However, we cannot guarantee the uniqueness or originality of AI outputs, as similar prompts may generate similar responses for different users.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:
- • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service
- • Update features, functionality, or pricing
- • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect service availability
- • Implement usage limits to ensure fair access for all users
We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- • RYSA provides the service "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- • We are not liable for any damage to clothing, fabrics, or personal property resulting from following AI recommendations
- • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
- • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RYSA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time:
- • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@rysa.app
- • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
- • We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
- • Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portuguese law; courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to mandatory consumer fora, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication. For formal disputes:
- • First, contact us at hello@rysa.app to attempt resolution
- • If unresolved, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration
- • You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RYSA regarding the service.
